I went and saw some nativity sets tonight. they were so amazing. i took lots of pictures. Here are a few.

they were great and i have decided i want to start collecting them. they are so pretty, and just looking at them reminds me of how much the savior has done fore me.

Hats glorious Hats (sing this line)

Ok so i have always thought little kids look so cute in hats, when Jayne was born, my sister shavonne knitted her pretty much the cutest hat ever! It was a little sock monkey. one night darick and i were at a restaurant, and the hat disappeared, either someone took it, or it fell on the ground or something tragic happened to it, but it is now long gone. *tear* So i asked her if she could make jayners a new one, shavonne is the best, and this cute hat came in the mail this week!
While i was waiting for a new hat, i decided to try to crochet jayne a hat. (about once a year i get in this crochet mood, and i do it for like two weeks, and then i quit because i remember that making a blanket takes to long) But i think i have found a new love. hats are quick and easy! mine aren't as great as my sisters but they are pretty cute. there is a baby boutique here in town and i'm selling them there. so here are the hats i made:)

Who does the laundry: I sort and fold, darick puts it away normally

Who cooks dinner: Me, but darick does help when i ask him to
Who drives when you are together: Darick unless we go long distances, then it's me

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong: Me- i don't like it when he's mad at me so i always give in

Where was your first date: well when we started to date Ryan Shupe and the rubber band, but before we were official grandpas bbq and a movie
What was the first thing you said to your husband: to my husband- i love you, but when we first met "the chacha is a scandalous dance" (we were dancing it in our social dance class)

Where did you get engaged: in his kitchen

Where were you married: Spokane washington temple

How did your reception go: Good, i loved seeing my family

Where was the honeymoon: Washington, we went to silver wood and stayed an a bed and breakfast

If you could have changed anything about it what would it have been: Nothing. It was amazing!

Trying to sit up...

jayne is trying to sit up on her own, but she throws her body back, so i put a ton of pillows around her to protect her from herself:) she's just so dang cute

jayne got to play with her friend dallin this past weekend. she just loves him, she watched him pretty much the whole time. i made a hat for him, and dang he can't get any cuter, but he just did. here's a nice picture of them-maybe someday they'll get married and we can show this picture during their reception:)

Jayners+Daddy=love

Jayne just loves darick. she thinks he's pretty much the best-which he is. Darick always dances for her. so she'll be sitting on the couch, in her bouncer, or on the ground and he pulls some really sweet moves. she loves it.

She also started eating rice cereal, and darick is way better at feeding her than i am. here's a picture of her eating some carrots-not her favorite so far... but she'll get use to it.

Livin' on the WILD side

I went on another field trip with my preschool class. we went to an animal museum. i thought that they would be scared seeing all these stuffed bears and lions and stuff. but they just asked alot of questions like "why are they dead? how did they die? is he hungry?" how did i explain the "how did they die?" question. i just told them they fell asleep and just didn't wake up. oh and when i went to investigate this museum before we could bring the kids there, i kinda got the heebie jeebies with all those stuffed animals staring at me, I'm serious it kinda freaked me out.
