Double the fun

Our friends the Browns just had twins(Parker and Emily). Oh they are the cutest little babies! A boy and a girl, can you believe it? Perfect I'd say. Just with their last baby, I made these two little dreams a blessing outfit each.
(click on the picture to see them WAY bigger)
I didn't want baby Emily to outshine her brother so her dress is a little bit more low key than I usually do, but has some nice pleated details in the fabric and also in the ribbon. They just had to match (how can you NOT do the match thing with twins) So Baby Parker's vest has the same pleating, and he has a bow tie made from the same ribbon in Emily's dress. Just to pull the whole thing together they have cute little shoes.

Now all I need are twins of my own... erm maybe not, I think I have enough trouble with my one baby boy!

leg warmers...

This is a very debated topic. We all know they were a thing of the past, but they're totally "in" right now. Now if it was winter, and my legs were cold, I would wear them.(but they would be hidden UNDER a pair of jeans). There is no way I would wear them on a hot summer day with a skirt or something. That's just me. However with children and leg warmers I have a totally different opinion. I say the more often, the better. I even put them on Max, and he looks super cute(boy versions). I tell you, put a child in the craziest outfit you can think of and they not only pull it off, but look awesome at the same time.
Remember when I said I was going to learn to knit? Well I made some leg warmers. They are perfection! I didn't have anyone in mind while making them, but I knew they were going to be for a child....
They could be used for a baby.
But I think they perfect age is a cute little 3 year old. I dunno maybe I need a second opinion?

Three, its a magic number

Its been three years of blogging friends! So lets celebrate by having a give-away shall we?

I'm going to be making a special someone a headband. Lame? No way. I would have one already made, but what if you're like me and don't really pull off a headband very well? You may want one for you're daughter who can wear anything and look super cute! Or maybe you're a boy? Not saying a boy couldn't wear these, but lets just be honest here, its more of a girl thing. So you can win it for your wife or just some girl who means nothing to you? Great. So here's the deal, you win, we'll have a chitty chat chat about colors and such, and voila... personalized headband.
All you have to do to enter is leave a comment! Tell your friends!
PS.... Lets make it a triple giveaway, I'll pick three separate winners on Wednesday Sept. 1st! Happy blogging!
